Welcome to the first CrossFit affiliate on the
Upper West Side in New York City!
As many of you know, we were very excited to have signed our lease at 106/Columbus more than 5 months ago. However, after a long battle with the landlord over repairs and other complications, we have thrown in the towel. The landlord has left us no choice but to walk away from the space. We are thankful the saga has ended, although it is not the outcome we were hoping for.
Please accept our apologies for the long back and forth over the last few months, and bear with us as we navigate the difficulties of the UWS real estate market. We are currently searching for a new place to call home, and will certainly keep you updated on the progress! Follow us on Facebook and Instagram (CrossFit UWS or TheBronxBox) for more details.
In the meantime, we have a fantastic location in the Mott Haven neighborhood in the Bronx (thebronxbox.com) near the 2/5/6 trains! We would be more than happy to welcome you all there until we can settle somewhere on the UWS. Come check out the gym for FREE and meet our members on October 25, 4pm-?? for our Hallo-WOD party — an evening of workouts, costumes, and prizes!
We will also continue to hold classes at the 72nd St. Hill in Central Park until the weather turns. Class is currently 9am on Saturdays, and please do send an email with any other times you’d be interested in seeing.

Wondering what to expect from CrossFit? Small group classes focus on those fundamental movements that are essential to functioning in our everyday lives. You squat to sit down in a chair. You press objects overhead to place them on a shelf. You deadlift to pick things up off the ground. So to improve your level of fitness, we are squatting, pushing, pulling, jumping, running and more, all with the goal of making you stronger, faster, and more agile.
